hi Asala, l am also having lap surgery on 19th December, removal of 5 inch cyst both ovaries and both Fallopian tubes. Also hysteroscopy of womb to try to retrieve a sample of suspect endo lining. Wishing you well and chat when you need it, Alexandra, my post is just above your own..
my AmH was awful when I was trying naturally between 39-43. Finally managed to conceive (had two early losses sadly) after 2 laproscopys and the second one removed my ovary as the cyst was back and was 6cm.
Surgery definitely improved my odds as I feel blocked tubes were my problem. Dont stress on the AMh. Its not all that. Take loads of vitamin D and focus on anti inflammatory foods and drinks.
The month I conceived I was on 5x the vitD recommended level (and blood test scored normal levels) and doctor said my ovulation test was so poor I had no chance but that was the month I conceived!
Focus on natural health and eating well more than AMh. But surgery definitely helped make it possible for me.
I was 43 when my daughter was born but after all the hard work and stress the pregnancy was a breeze no sickness even and no issues Had a c-section and not had any problems from endo since.
best of luck. Positive mental attitude is really important. You got this. X
