I am post menopause and having trouble with dryness/soreness, I've been told I need to take Estrogen in the form of Estradiol vaginal tablets. Its only 10 micrograms, but I am very worried It will kick start the endometriosis I had treated twelve years ago. I was in pain for many years before finally getting the help I needed then, but if it starts up now who would take me seriously this time?

You can still have issues with endo after menopause, I certainly do and I have never taken HRT or other hormonal stuff post menopause. And it is true a lot of doctors do not believe this possible.
However personally I think it might be worth you trying this, I take it you mean the tablets you put in your vagina. It is a low dose and you could stop if it affected your endo. I did try these to help with continence issues and I did feel that it might have made the endo worse ( it was an ongoing issue anyway). But no continuing effect once I stopped them.
Have you looked at other options to deal with the soreness/ dryness though? It’s not an issue I have experienced but I am guessing there might be other solutions.
Thank-you. I am thinking that maybe I wouldnt be having dryness issues if I had endo. still, it was/is right next door in pouch of douglas, surely the endo. would be generating some oestrogen there if it was still about?
