Post op periods

Hi everyone x

was just wondering if anyone has found their period to be heavier with more blood clots than ever after a surgery? this is my 3rd period and still as painful as ever and more heavier than usual

has anyone else experienced this and felt likee surgery hasn’t helped with pains and flow? should i give it more time x

I definitely had this. I guess we have to remember it can take 12 weeks to heal internally fully. It took about 6 months for me to see the difference after my endo removal surgery. It definitely reduced my pain/symptoms.

I’ve since gone on to have a complete uterine ablation to stop my periods so I don’t have to worry about the bleeding on top of the pain.

mine have got lighter, but I still get the same period pain 🤷‍♀️
