gas type pains pelvis,abdomen and vagina ….. anyone else get/had this?

hi everyone,

I’m not sure what has caused this and I’m hoping someone can shed some light and share experiences. Today I’ve been getting a strong sharp pain that stops me in my tracks and I just have to wait for it to pass before I can move, it did pass quickly then happened again, it feels like trapped gas but is also in vagina. I have been having a new left sided pelvic pain for about a year and ovarian cysts.

I’ve been re referred back to endo clinic but I’m also under colorectal and pelvic floor clinic .

Hi, it sounds similar to the pain I've been getting. Although I have a history of endo, i felt my symptons were more gastro related this time, so I've had a colonscopy, CT etc. I am now seeing a gynae and he said it can be difficult to tell what is causing the symptoms. Bloating and constipation, and IBS type symptoms can be cause by endo sitting near to this area.

I am currently taking laxatives as well and it seems to be helping a bit. The trouble is strong pain meds can mess with your stomach so its really difficult.
