sulphur smell after laparoscopy?

Hey, hope someone out there has had this before?

so I had excision surgery in April and everytime I went to loo either to wee or poop I would smell this very strong sulphur/chemical type smell?? I presumed it was from surgery as they pumped alsorts into your abdomen and used excision etc etc but I still suffer with the smell and it's only been from surgery. I was fine before???

I have had urine checked at the docs and is all clear from a dip test. Nurse told me next step will be to have a swob?

for about a month now I have had some new symptoms. Backpain and dull aches and discomfort early morning around 4am which wakes me. As my bladder is full during the night, I will get up to wee and the smell is horrendous plus it the pain, discomfort and backache carries on for a few hours after. during the day I am fine pain wise (just smell) I just can't figure out what it could be?Anyone has this afternoon surgery?

I hope you do receive an answer to this. I had something very similar and never found out what the cause was!

Well.....I went to the doctors yday and I have a bladder infection they think? I had white blood cells and blood in my urine ? I've had swabs taken so waiting on the results. I'll keep you posted xx
