Non-medical pain relief in pregnancy?

I'm 5 weeks pregnant, and my endo has been plaguing me. My GP and others keep telling me that the pregnancy hormones should kick in and suppress the endo symptoms, but I'm still waiting! I am taking token paracetamol and considering codeine, but am nervous about the potential risks so would rather explore non-medical options first.

Has anyone found endo pain relief from treatments like reflexology, shiatsu, reiki, acupuncture etc?

I used to practice as an acupuncturist and frequently was referred pregnant women with fibroids etc for pain relief by our local hospitals. It was highly effective. Try the local register for The BAcC register for qualified practitioners and ask if they specifically treat pregnant women. Some do and others don’t. Good luck 🤞
