hi I have just been diagnosed with endometriosis rectalvaginal tethering has anyone been thru this before and what is the likely outcome ? Please I am in pain constantly

Yes, it's a very vague descrition but it means some of your internal oragns are stuck together. Normally they tell you exactly which often it is bowel stuck to womb but sounds like you are stuck between your passage where your poo comes out and your vagina. They are really close and often get glued together by endo. A surgeon can unstick them during an excision operation but tbh they ususally stick back. It causes lots of problems. I take progesterone only pill to stop my periods and daily laxatives this seems to help. I had excision but two years on and everything is stuck back again, but this is not the case for everyone. For some people surgery helps a lot. Good luck I hope you can get some help.
