I paid to see private endo gyne year ago who put me on his nhs list for a lap which ive been on a yr and have been told at least a year more however this surgeon has now left so been put on list for another one but he is also listed as endo speacilistiive done 😒🙄😒🙄😒🙄😒
however i saw general gyne on nhs who can do a disgnostic lap sooner than that. Can treat some endo depending whats what inside... he said a few months wait. He isnt listed as an endo speacilist however they now had a credited endo team at this hospital which they didnt a yr ago hence why I paid private elsewhere so he can refer to them dependong whats found at my lap
so no I dont know what to do go ahead with sooner lap or just wait and wait and wait for the other one!??!?!?!?!!?!?
Ive tried ringing PALS and gp wrote a experdite letter but been told same all the time I call im not urgent and there are 1000s on waiting list and no way I can get seen sooner unless I pay which really isnt an option at the moment
Feel like im just living in a nightmare

I would definitly wait and see and endo specialist. I had a lap and ablation done by a non specilaist gynae who failed to notice masses of endo, HE thought my endo was stage 2 and actualy it was stage four he just didn't know what he was doing. I needed another op within two years and ended up with lods of adhesions. Every time you have an op on the abdomen you get lods of scarring inside which causes almost as many problems as the endo. Wait and get someone who knows what they are doing otherwise you will go through th estress of th top and scarring inside for nothing.
Thabks yes I think I defo will be doing that. the more I think of my apt with the grnral gyne the more I get angry becuase he totally said the classic stupid stuff like pregnancy will cure endo so i actually said no it doesnt sure it nothing cures it n he was like oh well yes well the symptoms will go. Whatever. Yes im lucky to be seeing the speaclist but only that far ahead becuae i paid to see him but best decision. Just wish it would be soon but a year eeek
