1 year post hysterectomy

I had a full hysterectomy 1 year ago, saved one ovary so could avoid hrt but it pretty much died within a few months so started hrt in around Oct. Was fine for a good few months but in last month or so feel absolutely awful! So bad off work at moment as the migraines are unreal, having bowel issues yet again (extensive endo removed from bowel) and generally feel like rubbish. So overwhelmingly exhausted, losing loads of hair etc, just day to day life a chore. I've been told may need testosterone to add to hrt but a little reluctant, going to get all my levels checked next week. Increased gel dose see how that goes but been told may need to change hrt type? Anyone experienced same? Don't get how it's 1 year on that I feel like im going down same road again, obv not the extreme pain I was in with endo have the odd twinge pain wise but all other symptoms I use to feel creeping back

I had the same. life post-op is fraught with so many physically it could never be the same.I regret having the operation. Had I known that my life would change 365 due to the op, I would definitely not have had it, my life has changed in every sphere due to so many symptoms that I never had.. Even my memory got affected.

Wow yes the brain fog too! I manage complaints for a living which is not the greatest job when you feel so low with it all anyway but I've found myself not being able to string a sentence together on calls, I've full on hit a brick wall thanks for replying, feeling like I was naive to think I'd get my life back 😔 x

I got took of the get as it promotes the Endo because of hormones

Yesh that's a worry I have as I panicked a bit a few weeks back due to having really bad pain same as endo but since only had a few twinges but it did worry me x
