Recently been diagnosed with Endometriosis at the end of last year... and thankfully the NHS have been very good and quick with my scans and appointments. Compared to some of the stories I've heard about waiting times!
I've even got my mri from gynaecology on Monday so wish me luck!!
Anyway.. I suffer with crippling pains in my bladder and down there in general, which haven't been helped as I've recently bewn told I have a tumour in my kidney( not a good time to be me!)
Quite often I.put a hot water bottle on my stomach, back, and between my legs..
Obviously because I so frequently do it I've got these horrible rashes that have made me feel even worse about my body and what's going on with my health(positivity is key for me at the moment, making a joke of it or I may cry!)
I've been told they will eventually go but it will take a while.. has anyone had anything similar and know any remedies or creams to help?
Thanks in advance!
P.s. sorry for the picture haha

Yes so this is common in long use of hot water bottles. It can go away but only if you stop using them/add more cold water etc. If you continue it can lead to these being more permanent.
Ways around it, have you tried an electric heat pad, as these have maximum temperatures and cut off times etc which can help to stop this happening. I picked one up from lidl a couple years ago and it had a belt so I would wear it and it'd be tight to my body where I needed it.
Or you could try something like a tens machine, it uses small electrical currents to disrupt the pain signals. Can usually get them for around £20/30
I too had similar marks from using hot water bottles (much darker though as I wasn't using a cover). Try not to worry, in my experience they go away once you stop using them. It did take a long time for mine to disappear (I think around half a year or so).
I think Christin_a made excellent suggestions to use a heating pad and tens machine as alternatives.
