Prostap and period

Any one come on their period early after having prostap injection after surgery. I came on my period 10 days after my surgery and I wasn't due till another week?? Tried ringing the hospital just no one answers

Was on prostap for a while myself and was told I'm not supposed to have periods on it. I did bleed a little (although it was nothing like a full-blown period) and my nurse told me it was nothing to worry about. Don't know if that was helpful at all...

Hi. Hope you are recovering from surgery ok. I had prostap back in 2017 and I had bleeding 10+ days after the first injection, it was light compared to my normal cycles, they did warn me it would happen, it had a name which I can’t remember I’m afraid but I think it’s to be expected. I had a good experience with prostap, with only the occasional hot flush and no pain. I was on it for 6 months and then stopped to have ivf, it took a couple of months for my cycle to return and was thankfully less painful. Good luck with it and hope your surgery went well. Xx
