Endo surgery

I had laparoscopic surgery remove my endometriosis in December 2020. I’ve noticed over the past 8 months that my symptoms are getting bad again and seem to be worse than before my surgery. I’m not sure if my endo has grown back and causing the pain or if it has been too soon after my surgery for this to happen. I’m just wondering how much time people had between their surgeries (if they’ve had more than one)?

Hello! So I am currently in a similar situation, I had my surgery back in July 2020 and I started noticing a change in May 2021, then full blown symptoms from September/October 2021. But I guess everyone is different! I learnt today from my consultant that it depends if it was ablated or cut to removed on how quick it grows back? Not sure how true it is! Hope you are okay! I am here if you need support!

I had surgery in November 2020, and my symptoms are back... its just on my left ovary this time but its causing inflammation all over which is the pain for me. I've asked for a referral again as I think I have an endometrioma... but I dont think its too soon ❤ hope you get some answers xxx

I had surgery in Feb 2020 to remove endo and a cyst, ended up having one ovary removed. Less than a year later I was in pain again and the mirena coil that I'd been fitted with to help the bleeding wasn't doing a thing. I ended up having a full hysterectomy in July 2021. By Christmas 2021 I was in pain again and found out on Monday that the endo is back and has stuck my colon to my vaginal vault. I've got an appointment with my consultant on the 6th of April to work out next steps. Really had enough now 😕
