Endo outside uterus

Hi all,

I'm currently waiting for my referral . The possibility of endo never entered my head, despite heavy periods, painful ovulation, pain during intercourse I've never pursued anything. Was just getting on with it.

A few months ago, I took notice of a lump in between my labia and my groin - wrong place for a Bartholin cyst etc. Went to the doc who referred me for an ultrasound. The lump/mass gets bigger cyclically.

The ultrasound took place at a time when then mass was as it's smallest but it could be detected on the machine. The guy scanning me also did a quick pelvic scan and asked if I'd ever been diagnosed with endo. He believes the mass is endo , advised it will need removing and has referred me to gynae and plastics.

Im waiting on that referral but does anyone have any knowledge about this type of thing. Is it likely I have endo elsewhere too or can it just be external?

Hi _aaaldx, I'm afraid I don't have any experience (all my endo is deep inside), but I wish you all the best with future treatment.
