How long did you have post op symptoms for?

I’m 4 weeks post op on Thursday and still feel sore in my abdomen with sharp stabbing pains in the incision sites and occasional cramping. I also feel really tired and struggle to sleep and switch off now more than ever. What were your symptoms post op and how long did they last for?

I think it's normal to take 6 months to get back to normal. That's what my doc told me. iT's a big op. I couldn'tlie facing right at all because it pulled nad I think I needed the pain killers for two maybe three months but the pain got less and less by the day. Good luck.

Recovery times can vary between people, so it is difficult to say. Try to continue giving your body the rest it needs.
