Should I be chasing?

I had a 14cm cyst discovered by ultrasound September last year. I've seen the endo consultant twice, but I'm still waiting for the mri and they won't operate until they see extent of damage apparently. I'm beginning to get a bit panicky that it will rupture or something but equally feel bad chasing when nhs struggling. Luckily I'm not in too much pain unlike some, but just want it out!
