Sorry for details.

I am really struggling, again. I woke up at about 11.30 the night before last in a lot of pain, and feeling like I had a very full bladder, I went to the toilet but really struggled to wee. It was very very painful, but not burning infection painful. I managed to empty some but was rocking back and forth and going very slowly, has been the same ever since.

I went to the sofa and told my husband how I was feeling. About 20 minutes later I was in agony. Sweating, being sick, passing out. I laid on the floor in the kitchen, where I had managed to get to to my husband and ended up there for 45 minutes.

I then got back to the sofa, and with heat pad on full and memory foam pillow pushed against my stomach, I basically passed out for a while.

In agony I got my eldest son and husband to help me get everyone ready in the morning and got them to their childminders and work, including me, shouting at every bump in the road.

My work are great, even though I am a teacher, and I basically sat at my desk, boiling hot water bottle on my stomach and TENs machine on my back, doughnut cushion under me, shouting at every twinge (freaking out my students) until about 10.30.

After being sick in the toilet and not even being able to think, I went home. The rest of the day I could barely move. The pain was worse than childbirth and I was consumed, at some points maybe even delerious.

Today I am on holiday as we are moving house on 16th Feb. I feel a bit better. Pain has spread to whole abdominal area, cannot walk or move without moaning but not as bad as yesterday.

As we have moved to the evening it is feeling worse again and going for a wee has been ridiculous since this started.

My first appointment is on 28th Feb so I am not even on the BSGE cente's books officially until then.

People keep telling me to go to hospital, especially as my cyst leakage gave me abdominal sepsis before, but I can't help feeling that so many of us are suffering and I know my hospital are really struggling with Covid at the moment.

I am scared to cause any NHS emergency staff work, as I clearly know what is causing this, but scared as to what is going on and the consequences. I even used the morphine I had been prescribed on top of everything else, for breakthrough pain, to no avail.

Does anyone have any advice? Please?

Please, do not be a hero. You're in pain. The NHS is on it's knees but it is there for you when you are in pain. You are entitled to help. Go to A&E, please.

Hey I’m so sorry to hear you’re in so much pain! You are doing a fab job juggling everything you have going on don’t give up on yourself. I have stage 4 endo and I’m in pain every single day from the min I wake up to bedtime some days I pass out it’s that bad. I’m a pharmacist by profession so it’s a struggle keeping my mental and physical energy up at work. I’m adamant to keep going however with the very little energy I have left. Please stay strong sending hugs xx

Put it this way: if your daughter was going through what you're going through, would you tell her the hospitals are too busy seeing covid patients? Or would you drive her straight to a&e and demand someone sees her?

Look after yourself they way you would look after others - you deserve it

I hope you get some relief soon.

I agree, you really may need to go to the hospital. But for symptom relief right now I would recommend using ice. Heat is good sometimes but the pressure you are describing that makes it difficult to pee sounds similar to what I feel at times. A large ice pack seems to really help reduce the inflammation for me, making it easier to pee and pass gas. I use a gel based back sized ice pack, half sitting on it and half on your back, 20minutes. Then sometimes 20min on my stomach right after. I hope you get some relief!!

Recently had the same feeling and bladder symptoms, awful pain and difficulty emptying my bladder. After a week went to A&E and was admitted to thr gynae ward for 3 weeks, catheterised to give my bladder a break as it was in spasm and inflamed. It was immediate releif ! Go and get seen don't sit and suffer. I got a referral to urology whilst in Hospital and pain team so was worth biting the bullet and going x
