I’m just waiting for my endo excision surgery! Going private so hopefully this will be next month.
I just wondered what symptoms - mainly non direct symptoms did you find improved after surgery? I’m wondering if it cured bloating, improved skin due to better hormone levels, increased cervical mucus (fertile), did any of you get pregnant soon after surgery?? Keen to hear from those who struggled with infertility before surgery.
Thanks 😊

For me, having excision surgery was the best decision I could have ever made! I have struggled with infertility and recurrent miscarriage since 2017. I had excision surgery for severe endometriosis (almost everywhere... bladder, ureter, POD, uterosacral ligaments, pararectal nodule, etc. and bilateral endometriomas!) in March 2021 and fell pregnant in August 2021, but it was IVF.
Before my excision surgery I was in excruciating pain and couldn't live a normal life and the surgery improved my pain massively! My right ovary endometrioma grew back 3 months after though.
Endo is such a hard journey and I don't think you can fully understand it unless you suffer from it. I wish you the best of luck with everything! x
