Just a random question. Before I was diagnosed with endometriosis one of the symptoms I suffered with chronic fatigue. In November 2021 I had my laparoscopic surgery, all went well. After two months I am still suffering with chronic fatigue, no energy whatsoever. Can you still suffer with chronic fatigue even after removing the endometriosis ovary cyst. I am all new to this and still learning about endometriosis.
Thanks

Sorry to hear you've had such bad fatigue! I suffer regularly from fatigue and despite a successful op last time I still had fatigue. I don't find it's persistent though. Ops cause fatigue too and dip in mood (so we rest to heal). Each layer of the body takes a week to heal (6 layers) so 2 months later I'm not surprised you're tired. If I were you I'd track the symptoms and all other symptoms such as muscle ache, flu like feeling if that happens (hopefully not) just in case it's ME (chronic fatigue syndrome).
Do you have any other issues such as Insomnia, anxiety or depression? All of which can make endo fatigue worse sadly.
Hi tThere.Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. Unfortunately I think I do suffer with insomnia don't sleep well and also anxious. I will look into another symptoms you mentioned.
Have you tried meditation? Yoga? Breathing techniques? There's quite a few good breathing techniques that are calming if you search YouTube. There are other good things for anxiety (Herbal) such as ashwagandha or valerian root/magnesium glycinate for sleep. Hope it reduces.
Have your bloods been checked? Iron levels, low vit D, low B12 and thyroid issues can all cause fatigue. Low iron was only picked up for me via something called "iron studies" worth asking your GP to do all this. xx
I’m so sorry to hear this, yes I get it all the time. Sometimes too exhausted after work to get up and get a drink. The worst part is people don’t always understand why. I feel it’s better when I reduce caffeine?
I struggle hugely with fatigue. You feel like you've been hit by a brick wall don't you..one thing I have found 'can' support insomnia - definitely not every night. Is a acupuncture mat, it doesn't work every night but I do find I sleep much deeper - or feels like a deeper sleep anyway, if I read with that for about fifteen twenty mins in the evening.
I also find doing some form of exercise - even just yoga for half an hour a day does help a bit. It's a vicious circle though when I'm tired I don't want to do it, but I do find some relief from it.
Hope you get some relief soon, the fatigue is so hard. Especially when we have to try and function in daily lives.
