Life ruled by pelvic pain?

Random question, but does anyone notice that lifting anything slightly heavy causes an endo flare?

For example: if i carry shopping bags then i will be in pain after 😞

It's like any activities instantly go to my pelvis & I'm paying for it after πŸ˜–

I can't drink fizzy or alcohol. Can't eat anything too sugary. Can't have sex. Can't exersise. I even have to watch how i sit as i can litrally feel my pelvis seeze up if i slightly slump. I Can't even pick my child up πŸ™„

My life is ruled by this pelvic pain πŸ˜₯😒

Ugh, yes. 😞 I recognise all of this. I had a good laugh yesterday about something very random (probably from exhaustion & hysteria!) and I was holding my belly because it was pulling & hurting. I’m having to accept my new limitations and hope that I will feel some improvement after surgery/treatment. If you have trouble getting comfortable to sleep, can I recommend a body pillow… just bought one and it was bliss curling up with it last night! Supports everything πŸ˜€ Sending hugs πŸ€— xxx

Hiya, I have just come on to ask the same thing and came across your post. I am in bed with a heat pack around my hips and lower back wishing I could be normal. I feel like I have been put in a vice. my lower back, and hips are agony. I cannot stand straight or walk properly. If I do too much walking, cleaning, hoovering, bending over/down, sitting for too long I get hip, back pain and stabbing/shooting, deep aching vaginal and rectal pain along with the usual abdominal pain. I want to be able to go to work and feel ok ay with the kids and clean my house like I used to (a tad OCD ). I can barely put a wash on these days. Vent over. x

Vent away Hun. It's so shit isn't it 😞 I'm the same with the ocd but starting to give up being on top all it all now as it's not worth being in this much pain. It litrally has to get involved with anything we do, it's not fair is it 😞 xx

I’m the same with neck abs back which also affects pelvic pain/ have to minimise what I do, have to sit square on to my desk with my head being turned to the side in a meeting, training course otherwise everything gets buggered up. Have difficulty standing fir more than 20 mins at sons football matches or at the oven cooking. Frequent visits to.m chiropractor, use hot water bottle abs microwave neck cushions - miserable, really limits enjoying life :-( xx

I feel you,, im a gas engineer and can no longer lift anything over 7kg without sever pain, had to have a doctors note for work, its a struggle but im managing it, not sure if your the same but if i crouch for more than a few minutes i get sever pain, bleeding out of no where its horrible ☹xxx

Heartof3 profile image
Heartof3β€’ in reply toBengalni

Oh Bengaln 😞 it's awful isn't it. Yep, I'm the same with crouching & bending too long, it's like it all seezes up in my pelvis & I'm left with almost like sciatica deep in my womb πŸ˜– is that how it feels for you?

I'm lucky in a sense of the bleeding though, I'm often regular and not too heavy. It's just constant pains that's reved up at ovulation 😞 xx

Me too, especially mid-cycle. Like you, I have found there are triggers and so I try to avoid them. I'm a writer and therefore I spend hours sat in the same place which certainly doesn't help. I've looked at my diet too. I'm fairly healthy on the whole, but there are certain foods which make that area very stroppy. I keep a diary; it helps me to remember. Hot water bottles are a God send. I'm so sorry to hear you experience this too. Sending you a virtual hug!

Heartof3β€’ in reply toSasF

Same here, I'm healthy and love exercising but unfortunately endo will not allow exersise πŸ˜– mad how it also wont allow us to sit comfortably either, it's a controlling nasty Bully 😞Heat is my best friend! Got to love a hot water bottle & bath aye 😊

Sending hugs right back at u ❣

Omg yes and a whole day of pain follows if you try hoovering or cleaning. Tried lifting the bottle of fabric softener off the shelf and I nearly cried out from the sudden pain.

Yes and being fobbed off with decapeptyl injections and coils isn't fair and noone takes it seriously

Heartof3 profile image
Heartof3β€’ in reply toEscapologygirl

I no 😞 The coil didn't agree with me, i could litrally feel my womb contracting/ rejecting it. Was awful.

The pill just makes me even more hormonal.

Can't win can we xx

Escapologygirl profile image
Escapologygirlβ€’ in reply toHeartof3

I've always said no every time the coil was suggested, I've never liked the idea of a coil inside me and yes it seems like you the pill doesn't agree with me either. Be nice to just catch a break just once wouldn't it? X

My hips all the way acrkss and down near my coxyx feel like when yoj pull a muscle and trap a nerve ! I cannot parent as I used to do running around ect or work. I have been off since 17th November because I can't sit down for that long or I feel like I have a balloon and a knife stabbing my rectum ! it is awful that this happens to usm It really doea take alot away from you.

I now have health anxiety from symptoms and think everything known to man is wring with me because when you ask no one seems to get what you are explaining so I Dr google ( bad thing to do I know). I hope you feel better soon x

Bless you Lady1978, it's such a battle isn't it. Was you in hospital for the pain? I've been in & out of hospital several times due to the flares, the doctors either thought it was my appendix , bad UTI, ibs or infection which have all been rulled out.. It's been such a battle to get someone to listen. I am now on the list for an op.It's so isolating isn't it πŸ˜₯

It's one if them things that unless you gave been through it then you don't understand, sadly!

You're not alone, feel free to message anytime❣

It is so horrible when the pain takes over your life like that. Your description was me about 15 years ago when just taking a few steps to the kitchen would cause pain, let along trying to lift a bag of shopping, exercise etc.

I really hope you find something that can help to manage your pain levels. I don't know what you've tried already, but I found a combination of nutritional therapy and homeopathy made a big difference to my symptoms. An anti-inflammatory diet taking out things like sugar, wheat and diary can help take things down a level, along with adding in lots of anti-inflammatory foods like fruit and veg. Or some people find acupuncture helps with pain. Hope you find something that works for you.

Awful isn't it 😞Thank you for the advice, always appreciated.

I follow an antimflamortary diet. I'm also seeing physio at the mo.

The only thing that helps is rest & hot water bottles πŸ˜’ xx
