Hi JenRow,
Thanks for posting. I appreciate you are reporting being hot but often a hot water bottle or a nice bath can help relax the muscles a bit. If you’re feeling bloated or have stomach spasms peppermint tea can be really useful. I don’t know if you’re under GP or gynaecology care but it is helpful to keep a pain and symptoms diary to take to your health care professional and discuss the symptoms you’re experiencing and what treatment is available. I have attached a link ti the Endo UK pain and symptoms diary template, and a link to the treatment options should that be of any help. There are also a number of local support groups, you might find chatting to others in a similar position useful and even pick up some hints and tips from others. You can find your local group here endometriosis-uk.org/get-su...
I hope you feel better soon.
As @pheonix84 says a hot water bottle is good. Take a hot or cold shower when you are feeling like this. Also try and stay hydrated and eat healthy to avoid any constipation will make pain worse. If you are able to try go for a walk or dance about. I know this is so silly but it worked for me if releases the pain for a couple of hours. Try and distract f yourself as well but of course go to GP
Hi, I've found that a tens machine really helps. I got mine from amazon for about £25 which has different settings, which is useful to use on abdo and my back. I've also been recommended by a Dr to use buscopan which really helps with stomach cramps x
