So Confused!

Hi everyone.

I’m just after some advice before my next follow up next week.

Had a lap in July, was told endo was found and excision done, shown pictures.

Biopsy came back negative for endometriosis? But he excised something??

At my last appointment I was out on Prostap and I’m now almost 3months in so he’s seeing me again next week.

Has anyone else ever had their biopsy come back negative yet still been treated as though endo? I’m just so confused and feel like a bit of a fraud.

I haven’t, but it seems odd, adhesions doesn’t necessarily mean they are Endo. Be sure to ask the consultant. Ask them if everything excised was tested. If just a part portion tat could be why.I’ve been reading Endo can be different colours. No wonder it’s difficult to see.
