Really need some advice so confused...

Hi my daughter has just had her second lap in 2 years she is 18.After her first lap they found stage one endo & she had it lasered. Since then she has still been in pain everyday which has got worse each year, she has chronic fatigue, & some of the other symptoms associated with endo..They have just told her that they haven't found any endo& are going to refer her to a pain clinic...We are so confused she's in tears..My questions are if endo has gone can it still cause pain etc?...& is there a possibility that a endo specialist can miss the endo? & what else could it be?..Sorry for so many questions just feeling so fustrated right now...n helpless for my child.

Hi yes it is possible as no one is perfect. It could also be various other things causing the pain. It could be adenomyosis, pelvic floor dysfunction nerve damage caused by the endo to name but a few.

It wouldn't hurt to get a second opinion.

I'm sorry your daughter is still suffering.

As jean said it cud be them other things, but ye I wud get a second opinion, if she is still in pain do it,u just have to fight for everthing now or they will just palm u off with pain killers which just isnt the answer, expecially if its codeine, as u soon become addicted and immune to them
