Laparoscopy Today, Endo found!!

Hi everyone, little update for you all, today they have found endometriosis via a lap! Want to shove it in all the doctors faces who absolutely fobbed me off! I’m waiting for phone call tomoz to explain more as the surgeon didn’t come to see after surgery I just got to read the notes they took. The endo they found was in my Pouch of Douglas and left ovary fossa, does anyone know about this or have experience with this etc? Is it a certain stage or is it mild or can only he tell me that? Sorry i really don’t know much at all . I’m still not really sure what’s going on.

I also had cystoscopy where they have taken a biopsy but it doesn’t say why. Ideas?

Hi, I was diagnosed via lap in October; exactly the same; fobbed off by doctor, found it in my pouch of douglas, Stage 2. During my initial scan, they found fluid around there which was 'unusual'. I don't think it 'means' anything, it just means that you may have more issues with IBS pain and pain during sex.

My worst pain was during ovulation rather than period, which is why my case was dismissed. Had to go private in the end.
