Hi, I had my laparoscopy today and they didn’t find any endometriosis I have all the classic symptoms of endo so I’m a little disheartened. I do have a fibroid which hasn’t been able to be removed because it’s embedded into my uterus even after several attempts (cuts) and my second procedure it was left again. Would all my pain be due from my fibroid? It’s only 3.8cm but the pains I get are… shooting pains, shooting pains in coccyx and legs, deep vaginal pain after and during sex, heavy periods and blood clots. I also have bowel issue but have been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis proctisis. My gynaecologist who did my procedure today wasn’t an endometriosis specialist and I was discharged without any pain relief.

Hi that’s terrible to be discharged without any pain medication. I would get onto your GP and request some. Your symptoms are the same as mine and I have adenomyosis. Have you had an MRI? This is how I was diagnosed xx
Hi, thanks for the reply I’ve got some zapain now but Will get onto the drs. No I’ve never had an mri. Maybe I need to request one or look at paying private. Is it easy to spot on a laparoscopy adenomyosis? Because I’m worried stuff has been missed xx
I found that my GP has been more useful with my hospital letters and information on them as opposed to the surgeons on the day of the operation. Maybe have a chat with them xx
