The honest answer - it's really difficult!!!!! I don't like to take strong painkillers too often because they knock me out and I struggle to keep up with my little boy and look after him properly. I have a tens machine that helps, but it's just a case of trying to get through each day however possible!
Wow looking after a 1yr old and suffering endo pain must be a toughie! I find that the only way I can soothe endo pain is with heat (usually a warm bath.) Could you use a sticky heat pad or maybe share a bath with your 1 year old?
Hi there! Firstly, I am so sorry you have endo. I too am on a waiting list for excision of my endo and I have been for over a year due to covid making things slower...
I'd suggest investing in a tens machine, I have Ovira which really helps me move about day to day, and might help you keep up with your 1yo.
Also maybe when they are in bed try doing some stretches. I know at the end of the day, it is EXHAUSTING, but five minutes or so of stretching your muscles daily might shift some things around. I find that I need to stretch my hip flexors alot, and the app Down Dog have tailored yoga practices.
You are amazing and you are doing so well, struggling with this condition every day, whilst raising a human. Don't forget how incredible and resilient you are.
