So yesterday I attended my appointment with an Endo specialist. I have been waiting all year to see. I had an MRI in Sept and got my results yesterday. My left fallopian is extremely large and full of blood (Hematosalpinx) so I am to get it removed but unfortunately NHS waiting time is over a years wait for surgery. Endometriosis has caused this to happen. And all my left side is covered in endo. Back in 2018 I had a diagnostic laparoscopy in a gynecologist surgeon. Who didn't know much about Endo and neither did I back then. She found my left fallopian tube twisted around my left ovary and stuck to the side of my pelvic wall. All she did was unravel it and put it back I place. After I was diagnosed I researched the hell out of Endometriosis and realised I needed an expert endo specialist who performs excision not Ablation like she did. So after all these years my left fallopian tube is down dead and needs removing 😪 my right side is all ok as far as the MRI says. But the endo specialist is going to run some dye through it to check it.
Has anyone else had this before? How did you feel after surgery having an organ removed? After waking up from surgery last time after having Ablation I was in so much pain etc how would I feel after having excision surgery?
Thank you reading my post. Any help and advice much appreciated xx
