Nausea and bowels

Hi all, another day and we're all still fighting.

Just needed a moan really. I have the mirena could and take progesterone tablets but I still bleed for a couple of days at a time every couple of days. During which I suffer with awful bowel cramps and nausea to the point where I can't eat and I want to make myself sick to try and get some relief. I can't even think about leaving the house because I can't leave the toilet.

Feeling very yukky today.

Hi OceanSpirit

It really is tough dealing with endo symptoms constantly, isn't it? Your bowel symptoms sound really horrible. I can really empathise as I struggle with this too, and often have bowel "explosions" during a flare up. I hope you can invite people round to visit you, if you can't get out at the moment?

If you'd like a little extra support, our endo support groups are available in many local communities around the country. You can connect with fellow endo patients. You can read more here: endometriosis-uk.org/find-a...

Keep fighting!

Hi, have you discussed this with your GP, because the type of meds the use for irritable bowel syndrome might help during these times. I have used Buscopan which reduces cramping, sounds like that might help. Also they could give you something to reduce nausea. Ideally you would want to sort out the endo, but it could help to treat symptoms by themselves in the meantime.

Not what you're looking for?
