Multifollicular ovaries

Hi all!

I have a follow up appointment next week to discuss the lap I had a month ago, and schedule my hysterectomy after adenomyosis was diagnosed during surgery!

I had the consultant letter explaining what was found and what was done in surgery etc - on it the surgeon has put that I have multifollicular ovaries. It's not a term I've heard before - does anyone have any experience?

Ill ask the consultant next week, but just wondered if anyone has come across this before and if it's just an observation rather than something to be concerned about!
