Laparoscopy recovery and post op endo??

Had my laparoscopy last week and feeling fab! Ready to go back to work for a few hours next week as I am still really tired but also very bored so I’m hoping that this will help get back to a routine.

They removed a small amount of endo from my Douglas pouch and have sent for testing. Not sure when I will get these back but does this say what stage and does this mean now I can stop taking naproxen and tramadol each month? Or will it be back?

Any post op tips for the next few weeks would really help

You may be lucky and endo not return but it is a chronic condition so more likely it will 😪. Just be careful for a few more weeks and don’t do too much and don’t get back to exercise just yet as you’ll still be healing inside. The biopsy won’t tell you stage. The level of endo you have gives stage so if it was just this one small spot that would be stage 1 endo.

That helps a lot. I do feel more tired than usual today! But, I’m feeling positive. Which is something that I’ve not felt with my own body for years 🥰
