Post op laparoscopy recovery

Hi I had my first lap to remove Endo on monday and I am now experiencing tailbone pain and numbness when laying on my back and sitting up is this normal and will it go away?Any other tips or advice for recovery gratefully received Thanks x

Hi I'm not doing too bad still got the pain and this mirena coil making me very depressed not sure if I should presevere with it or not. How are you?x

Great to hear from you Jen , I'm sorry to hear your not doing good with the mirena causing you depression it all sucks , has your pain settled ? I'm doing really crap ATM I'm in constant pain daily & feeling really depressed with this & really angry that I'm still waiting on my appt since Nov my GP told me yesterday that there is a 10month + waiting time it is just ridiculous that we have suffer so much & wait so long ( my GP has increased my meds & am now on morphine patches which is still not helping !! I'm at my wits end & living a life of a total recluse !!! Xx

Pain isn't too bad but it depends how much I do yes waiting time is getting worse and now they wont do non emergency operations ethier cos of more budget cuts so I'm lucky I got my operation when I did. Over ten years I was waiting you just have to keep at them and keep fighting that's why I started using herbs for pain relief cos the doctors wouldn't help me so I decided to help myself. Have you tried a tens machine?its said to be good pain relied xx
