Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the scars are like from a laparoscopy and if they ever fade?

Hi I had a laparoscopy in 2019 and I can hardly see my scars now. The one in the belly button I have to go looking for as I have an inny one but that’s probably the worst little scar about 1cm long. The others on my stomach I struggle to see them now. I put coconut butter on mine which maybe helped x

I have small one that look like tiny devision signs, belly button one you can’t see.

I have no marks or signs of them post 1 year. Don't worry too much, they will go because the incisions are usually quite small. x

I had my op over 4 months ago. Circled the scars which are very minimal. You can barely see my belly button scar so not circled it (other scars from above belly button is from a piercing)
