Pain after Laparoscopic surgery

I was booked to have a fibroid removed laparoscopically only on 26th July , however during the surgery the surgeon discovered that I also had minimal endometriosis which was treated, However, now I’m experiencing a lot of body aches especially restless legs and pin & needles for the past 3 days ? Is this normal ? Is this something I need to worry about?

Also to make things more complicated on my U/S scan it revealed I have pelvic congestion! does anyone know anything about this??

I have no clue

Help :(

I wouldn’t be too worried- it sounds like you’ve had the surgery relatively recently and if they’ve removed some endometriosis, even if it’s minimal, they may also have knocked against some nerves. This could explain some of your leg pain and pins and needles and I’m guessing it will settle once you’ve had more time to heal! Make sure to mention it in your follow up appointment, though, and get in touch with your GP or 111 if you’re really worried! In terms of pelvic congestion, I don’t know a lot about it either, but there was a really interesting BBC article a couple of days ago which I’ve linked below. Hers sounds quite extreme, so don’t let it panic you, but it explains symptoms and treatments etc!
