I would say go to A+E if the pain is that bad you can't manage it with painkillers they might be able to prescribe you something stronger to take the edge off it might be a bit better than waiting to see/speak to a GP depending what your local GP waiting is like a at the mo and obviously the wait in A+E itself! Hope your pain subsides a bit soon x
I have lower back pains since July 2020 then just around May 2021 on and off Right leg pain, then recently June 11 sudden severe lower abdominal pain on and off, then June 20 woke up with severe right leg pain from groin to thighs to leg to heel also with saddle anesthesia, which led me to call 111 as I was worried about spinal compression, but it was a Sunday medical centre cannot do anything so went to A&E on Monday (June 21) as advised by my GP, I had MRI of spine but found something on my pelvic area, referred me to gyne on June 25. Diagnosed with Endo. The gyne said hormonal pill and pain killers is the only option at the moment. I went for pain killers dihydrocodeine for a week, only took it once a day as I worry about getting addicted, but woke up 5am July 2 with severe terrible lower abdominal pain and right leg pain at the same time, I could not move out of bed to take my pain killers, waited until 1.5hrs to push myself to get my pain killers then after 1-2 hrs of taking it, no relief at all, I went to A&E again June25 they ?Appendicitis ?Ovary Torsion, seen Gyne again on same day and she said its the cyst that’s causing my severe pain. she wants me to take hormonal pill as it will stop the menstruation to stop my uterus from contracting to stop feeling in pain. I agreed but I have not taken it yet as I worry about side effects as I was advised to take it for 6 months. I write my pains daily now. I mean I try. I hope you get better. I think you should go to A&E and tell them you need a scan. We cannot be in pain with just nothing. Doctors should be able to tell us something.
