Hi everyone, I've just been told I could have endometriosis because I have brown chunks of flesh coming away from me and horrific abdominal pains, fainting and nausea everyday. So I was wondering if this is happening to anybody else and if you have any tips on how to cope because my whole life has stopped?

Hi, I'm sorry to hear about your symptoms. When you say brown chunks of flesh, is it coming out when you go to the loo? I have something similar and it seems to be getting worse. I keep trying to not look in the toilet every time I go as it's so stressful but I cant help myself. I have been waiting for my referral to a gyno so hope they will be able to help. What has your Dr said about it all? I've had to keep asking for further investigation as I'm so worried about all of the symptom I'm getting. I don't know if they're being crap because of Covid. In terms of pain relief I find hot water bottles and hot baths the most helpful, and then I take cocodamol on bad days but you need to be careful with that stuff and not take it for more than a few days. Xx

Hi, yeah they are coming out all the time but I only notice when I go the toilet because they are sticky so kind out just sit there till I go the toilet. I live with a hot water bottle at the moment. I've been put on Zapain which is strong co-codamol but I have to take that everyday. I went to see a gynecologist 5 weeks ago and she's put me on 2 pills a day for 3 months to see if that's helps but it hasn't I seem to be getting worse so I'm trying to see if there is anything else the doctors can do to help if it is endometriosis.

They think I have endometriosis but don't want to do the laparoscopy until I have tried the pill for 3-6 months but I can't cope with how bad it is I'm in agony everyday. So I'm trying to get in touch with the gyno to see if they can do more.

I'm on the pill but only 7 weeks so far and it is not good. It has helped with the pain to the be honest but I do still get some. I'm bleeding a lot on it and have the same as you in the toilet. I'm going to try a different pill but tbh I don't want to be on the pill at all!! I hope you get some help, sounds like you're going through it! Good luck with it all xx

Yeah I've found the Pills don't really help me at all and they cause more complications. Thank you. I hope you get help too and don't have to suffer anymore xx
