Hysterectomy ✅

Hi,

For the lovely ladies that asks me to give an update. I had a successful total hysterectomy yesterday and slowly starting to feel like myself again. I had the spinal pain blocker and I don’t think I was prepared for coming round and not being able to feel or move my legs! In a little bit of pain now, but hopefully going home today to get some 💤. Going to be rattling for a while with the number of meds I need to take (including a suppository, yum!)

Fingers crossed this next bit goes well x

Glad it all went to plan, rest rest and more as it’s a massive op to go thru, take care x

Glad it went well for you. Rest up and hope you have someone to look after you. Did you get a laparoscopic hysterectomy? Wondering as that is what I would be getting x

Yes it was laparoscopic. X

HiSo good you’re feeling ok 😀 I had mine last November.

Really important not to lift anything.

You’ll notice if you try, take it from someone who tried after a couple of weeks 😂

You may still bleed a bit, I did but not much.

Rest is key 🙂
