I am 18 and I was diagnosed with endometriosis at 14, since then I have been on a bunch of pain kills to help with my back pain and finally have one that takes some of the pain away. I have now been starting to feel really tired. Its like I have no energy to get me through the day, even if I have 7 to 8 hours of sleep. I was just wondering if anyone has away of coping with this?
If so please let me know.
Thanks

Can I suggest you ask your GP to test your Iron levels, folate, B12, vitamin D (sometimes they refuse, but I'd insist) which all causes tiredness if low.
When you get the results back, I'd look at iron closely, they sometimes say its fine but anyone with endo shouldn't have an iron level at the bottom of the range.
Can I ask if the pain is affecting your mood? Sadly this can cause tiredness, getting help processing your feelings could help with the tiredness.
Do you think the painkillers are contributing to the tiredness, some do. Such as Cocodamol
I think exercise helps alleviate tiredness.
Worth taking vitamins such as b complex for energy.
If you don't mind me asking, how severe is the back pain out of 10? xx
I have had a blood test to check my iron levels as I mentioned that I was feeling tried but they said that it was fine but that was awhile ago, I am currently on 250g naproxen which helps with my back and joints. My pain used to be about an 7 but has gone down to about a 5 and I did take iron tablets for a while but it did not do anything x
I use rosemary essential oil in a carrier oil for pain relief. 50 drops of rosemary essential oil in 100ml of sweet almond oil. I apply to my back overnight, my 6 out of 10 endo back pain is gone thanks to that and pain relief lasts the next day.
Rosemary essential oil is clinically proven to reduce pain for serious conditions such as arthritis.
