Since have my c-section last April I have been suffering with bloat, lower back pain, pain ful ovulation, heavy periods! The pain is awful all month long. The bloat is causing so much discomfort.
I got referred to the gynaecologist and he believes it’s endometriosis he’s put me on the pill and wants to see if that helps but symptoms have worsened.
I’m now worried the constant pain and bloat could be something else and we’re just focusing on endometriosis. I have no idea what to do but the pain is awful and feel I can’t be my full happy self for my 1 and 3 year old

Did you have symptoms of Endo before pregnancy? If not I’d highly suspect adhesions from your c-section! Unfortunately they don’t show on any scans! Xx
I have always had heavy periods bad cramping but never the back pain. It all got worst when I started trying for children, then I had a still still born in 2016 due to gynae issue and being born early and too children since and every time in pregnancy all symptoms disappear due to not having periods.
Probable then, but personally, I think the cause of my pain is more the damage Endo has done than actual Endometriosis itself!
I have stage 4 DIE (diagnosed and treated via lap), I respond to nothing! Hormones or surgery never cured me!
So all in all, I actually think the majority of my pain stems from adhesions, than from Endo! You may have Endo, adhesions, then c-section and more adhesions! Hence why you have worsened.
I got given the progesterone only pill and I bleed the whole time I was on it and bloat has been worst whilst taking it due to constant bleeding and then have swapped my pill to combined pill to see if that helps but do not have a break So I get no period. Every morning I wake in agony. 😣 thanks for replying.
How long did you have to wait for you lap? My husband wants me to go private but I just don’t want to waste that money if it’s not even the issue 🤷♀️ Xxx
Well my first lap over 5 years ago happened relatively fast when I saw the private consultant (through NHS), I got my diagnostic lap within a month! (If you get offered a private hospital, take it, it’s the quickest way to be diagnosed). Only problem is they couldn’t treat because I was too severe. I then waited a further 12 months for ‘priority surgery’ with the NHS at a BSGE centre! I had an abscess back in November and now awaiting another lap! And well, how longs a piece of string this time, as I’ve been told what I need doing... But yet to receive a date for it 6 months down the line! Xx
