Post-laparoscopy follow-up

Hi everyone,

I had a laparoscopic excision of an endometrioma last week. It was a bit weird - the 10cm endometrioma wasn’t attached to my ovaries, but it was connected to my uterus and adhered to my bowel. My uterus was breached during the op and has been stitched back together.

I’m recovering well and am now thinking about the follow-up appointment with the consultant. I have never been diagnosed with endometriosis so this is all a bit new to me. What are the key questions that I should ask at that appointment?
