Serrapeptase and surgery?

Hi, I've recently heard abut serrapeptase on this site - does anyone have any experience or advice they can share? I am wondering whether it would be useful to take before/after my upcoming lap? Does it prevent adhesions?

Thank you all!

Hey, I've heard good things about it helping with recovery. I wouldn't use it in the 2 weeks before surgery as it can increase bleeding in some people which is a risk before surgery.

Its great for breaking down scar tissue from operations and adhesions too.

I had an incision that would hurt daily after my last op (hurt for 3 years) I used serrapeptase for 2 weeks and it hasn't hurt since (that was last September).

I also have a feeling that adhesions had started to affect my bowel, I had a lot of pain. After 2 months of serrapeptase, that pain has not reoccurred.

Hope it helps you but worth noting it does increase pain for a couple of weeks when you start taking it and it also has drug interactions with NSAIDs. Some issues to take serrapeptase if you're diabetic or have any blood disorders.
