Can Endo form as a lump under the skin in the arm?

Might seem like a crazy / stupid question..... but I have a pea sized lump in my fore arm which can be painful/tender under pressure (like its on a nerve or something). I've had it for a few years and it's gotten bigger over time. And i can feel around it if I pinch it if that makes sense. There is a small purple mark like a tiny permanent bruise or broken vein(?) where it is.

I've shown it to a couple of GP's (prior to endo diagnosis) and its been dismissed so I've never worried about it and it was only where I saw an article on endo awareness month which stated:

'a bit more rarely you can have endometriosis affect areas like, for example, you can get endometriosis in the skin or underneath an incision. so that may show up as a tender nodule that you can feel under the skin'

Obviously on my arm is no where near any sort of scar tissue... but could this be endo in my skin?!?!

I'm trying to track if its more/less painful or if there are any changes in size in line with my flare ups but its hard to tell.

Has anyone had/ heard of anything like this before??

Hi, I would pay particular attention to it when you're on your periods. If it hurts more then, that might indicate something. I believe the skin endometriosis is most common in women who have had a c-section.

Thank's I will defo keep track. I've never had children and the only surgery I've ever had was the diagnostic lap last year so already had the lump by that point....

Hi. I have had 3 of these removed from arm apparently not related to endo and none where cancerous. I am just a lumpy person apparently and I have another one growing all on my left arm, and do hurt more around my period but then I think everything may well do. Good luck

Thanks that just what I'd assumed to be honest - lumpy person! Endo hadn't entered my mind until I read that article. Thanks for sharing your experience x
