Prostap pain?

Hi i’m just wondering if anybody has had the same experience with ProStap injection.. i’m coming into my second month on the postap injection.. which I have to say has been brilliant for me so far.. I am on the prostap for suspected endometriosis which causes me to have excruciating pain on ovulation and period which of course I’m not having either at the moment… but I would normally be ovulating at the moment and I am starting to get the pain I had before prostap has anyone else experienced this before? I honestly don’t no how you have coped! I have always had painful periods like extremely painful but with this pain on top for the last 3 years I absolutely don’t no how woman have coped x

Yes! On my second injection and am still getting ovulation pain (actually all pain, it's still hell).

I honestly thought It had fixed my problems.. no pain for 1 month at all a little discomfort but not pain.. and now i would be ovulating if I had periods and it’s back already 🤦‍♀️.. how do you cope with the pain of you don’t mind me asking? And also what is your diagnosis? I hope that’s not a cheeky question I just haven’t fully had one yet? X

Hi, it took until my third injection to be pain free, they said it would get worse after the first injection and then gradually get better after that. Hang in there x

That’s interesting.. I have had the prostap 3 so I only get two injections altogether... fingers crossed after the second injection! Thank you so much xx

Hi,I have tried Prostap on 2 separate occasions, both for 12 months, I found I still suffered my cyclical pain process but had no bleeding. Towards the end of the second round I actually started bleeding again. It is so hard because everyone is so different, but the false menopause definitely doesn't work for me. I hope you find comfort soon. xx

that is very true everyone is very different with how they are on it.. but it seams that i am very similar to how you are with it i am also not bleeding but the pain is here after a month of being pain free... thank you for your reply x
