Pain and depo shot

This is my second depo shot and again I’m in totally agony the pain in my left side and back in so bad I’m constantly bloated so bad my tummy hurts is this normal and will it go away I had the shot a week ago the first injection was the same I was in terrible pain then 2 weeks later started bleeding for over 2 weeks doctor has to give me medication to stop bleeding does it get better or is the depo shot useless any advice greatly accepted xxx

Hi, sorry to hear this, sounds horrible for you. I have been on the depo a long time and it helps me a lot, I hardly have any pain and minimal bleeding. I do get bloated but I have worked out that this seems to be triggered by gluten. I hope that your body settles down soon. I imagine there are mixed reviews of depo as we are all different x
