Yes it would be nice to party but that hasn’t happened for a long while and it doesn’t look possible in today’s climate either.
My last post was about 4 months ago upon exploring research for SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacteria Overgrowth). I have a good GP who listens to my findings and is also concerned for my extreme weight loss.
I was referred to a specialist gastroenterologist and I have had a few tests which have revealed 4 sections of abnormalities in my stomach and small intestine. Apparently I didn’t take the camera test too well under heavy sedation but I really don’t remember this. The only part I remember is the mouth guard being inserted in my mouth. I really do hope my reflex were also heavily sedated and I hope to god it wasn’t a Jekyll/ Hyde moment.
A biopsy was taken and I’m now waiting on the results.
My flare ups still happen, my bowels are very painful and I still suffer from a lot of pelvic, back and leg pain. Weight has also continued to drop and eating portions are still low. I’ve had cycles since my surgery a year ago and they are still debilitating although not quite like the were.
This post was just a little update really and to stress the importance of doing your own research. Look at case studies, journals, listen to talks, podcast etc and cross reference. Looking after my health is like sitting another degree but at least I understand a hell of a lot more than I probably should.
