Hi All, so i'm 28 and i have recently been put on Prostap injections for my endo and also the tibolone tablets to counteract the side effects. i am completely exhausted. i can literally be awake for about 3 hours before i'm having to sleep again. i'm really struggling with working and just doing my every day things. is there anybody that has felt the same with this? does the tiredness pass? or is there anything that i can do that will help it? i can't afford to be having time off work just because i 'feel tired' and work don't understand that i am literally exhausted and in pain. please help x

Hi Daniellecx
Really sorry to hear how you are feeling right now. I am in the same position as you. I was advised to stay on Prostap and Tibilone by my consultant since March I’ve been waiting for a surgery date for over a year now. I felt the exact symptoms you have described but in addition to that I was suffering from severe headaches. I made a decision to stop taking the Prostap last month and I’m still waiting to hear back from the consultant about the next steps as I’m scared the pain could return and the Endo will get worse. I’ve been told it can take upto three months to come out of your systeman. Now my worry is getting the treatment given the situation we are in with COVID I suspect it will be much longer time than normal. But latest now I feel myself and I’m some control again since stopping the Prostap.
My advice would be speak to your GP get them to contact your consultant and talk it through and decide on next steps.
Hope this helps a little xx
