Im 55 and have suffered from endometriosis and adhesions for years. Ive had numerous surgeries and ovary removed. Im post menopause and endo symptoms did settle fairly well but this year I have had two surgeries for a fistula repair once in March and again 6 weeks ago. Both times my hormones seemed to go crazy hot flushes by the ton and the same old endo pain returned and is horrendous. I just don't know what to do. My fistula surgery has healed well but here I am still unable to control this pain and return to work as a nurse. No painkiller will touch it and my gynae surgeon who said my only option is more surgery. My gp is understanding but doesn't have a real clue as to how to help me. Just dont know what to do .

It just sounds like surgery has triggered your hormones to go wild.our bodies are amazing things!I wouldn't look for more surgery now it will probably cause you more issues and pain.
Are you on any medication which could have triggered this off ?
