Failed Hysteroscopy and Burst Cyst

Hello everyone.

I’ve been having a really rubbish time.

I’ve had painful, horrific and heavy periods for a long time and had the following done.

2 x hospital stays in 2011,

Camera up bum in 2011.

Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy in 2012.

Many scans, many doctors appointments, many phone calls, so many times I’ve been told this is just the way my cycles are while I’m getting through 40 pads a period, and taking codine and transenamic acid.

Argh!

So to bring you up to date - in September I was told I have a 3.5cm on my ovary. That then burst and I was admitted to hospital again with extreme pain and then after 2 days I was told I have a polyp in my womb which needs to be removed.

When I got the date for my procedure I tried to change it because I would have my period. I called 3 times and each time they said they could do it. I’m sure you know what’s coming.

My procedure was yesterday, they said again before starting it that even though I have my period it would be ok. They did the procedure, which is very painful and said they couldn’t remove the polyp because of the amount of blood in there.

So I have to go back. I’m sore, pissed off, fed yo etc etc etc.

Hoping I’m not alone!

I haven’t been through this, sounds awful, I get why you are so cross with the medics. Have you been diagnosed when you had lap?
