Does anybody else have nerve damage from surgery and have to go on endep? What are your stories? Thanks 😊😊

Hi

Last year before any op was done, I would get a shaky feeling in my abdomen, GP didn’t believe it. It would happen more if I’d been sitting. I mentioned this to gynae when I first saw him and he didn’t think it was related. After lap he said the nerves likely to be involved with the endo. This was a relief in a way as starting to wonder before lap if it was something else.

I still get it but not as bad since seeing the pain consultant and starting Amitriptyline. Started at one, now at five.

I don’t know if this helps as it’s not from surgery as such.

Thank you for your reply! Yes I started taking a quarter of a tablet first and it has already started helping a little bit. I hope everything continues to go well for you :)

I’m having a hysterectomy later this month, so have it all over again, not just endo though. Hopefully this is the last.

I hope it continues to work for you.
