Supplements to alleviate Endo symptoms

I have suffered with endo all my life but as I approach the menopause it has steadily got worse. It has affected me quite badly but I decided to take back some control and find out how I can manage it better. Looking into acupuncture, diet and increasing exercise. Also been looking into supplements . Fabulous pharmacist, Shabir at Victoria Health suggested that Angus Castus - helps the body to manufacture its own progesterone. Indolplex - works to ensure that oestrogen is metabolised correctly and magnesium to help muscles relax and abdominal pain.

This isn’t an ad as I am sure you can get these products from any good pharmacies but I emailed him out of desperation and he responded so wanted to share with all of you.

You guys have all helped/ educated and supported me 🥰🙏

I remember using Agnus Castus years ago for periods, can’t remember if it helped now or not.

Hope it works well for you 🙂

Why does endo get worse as menopause approaches? I’m 49, periods all over the place, even stopped for a couple of months and now back regular as clockwork, heavier than ever and pain like crazy. Why!? When is this ever going to dry up and end? 😔

Mine got really really bad, and I think I had a cyst burst. I realise I probably got iron deficiency too most of the month with the excessive blood loss. And I hadn't heard of peri menopause - seems to be something you only find out about as it's ending .... you just think you're going mad!

I started to take red clover to help with meno, then I got officially diagnosed with endo and read that lots of these Estrogen acting supplements can make endo worse .... Can't win.

I heard that to but I think the supplements I mentioned help with progesterone, which should alleviate symptoms 😘

I started to look into it a little, and it seems to be subject of quite a bit of ongoing research, it sounds quite a powerful little plant, it's amazing what properties plants have, I remember I was surprised to learn that you really have to be wary of herbal teas with licorice in the ingredients!
