Hi, I had a Laparoscopy in January this year and was diagnosed with endo. They removed what they could from between my womb and bowel but said there is more inside my womb which cannot be removed as I'm only 24 and a hysterectomy is not an option for me now. I am still suffering with quite significant pain in my belly button where my scar is and it is getting to a point where I am constantly feeling sick and run down from the discomfort I'm in especially when stood up straight. I am at a point that it is effecting my job and being noticed by my managers to be struggling most shifts (I work in a kitchen).
Has anyone else experienced this, even 9/10 months after surgery?
Thank you in advance.

Hi, I also had a lap in Jan. Mine was negative though. But since then I have had an abscess on my belly button, I've had a scan on my incision and the stitches haven't dissolved and they think its a granuloma. Can you feel a mass around the incision? But I have also read about endo attaching to scars? X
I cannot feel any sort of a mass around the incision and from appearance it seems completely normal. it is mostly when I stand upright or stretch that it hurts the most. just worried because I did mention this in my follow up but he honestly didn't seem bothered about it. xx
Hi I also suffer from endo an the last two years I’ve had bellybutton pain not sure what it is but think it could be to do with adehesions (scar tissue) xx
