Blood clots/bleeding.

Hello,

I started the pill 3 weeks ago (rigevadon) and I am on my week break.

I started bleeding today, but have had two large clots. They are atleast the size of a 50p piece, and really thick in consistency. The second clot had what seemed like uterine tissue, it was beige in colour.

Is this normal? I have never had clots before, despite having endo.

I don’t think I can offer much specific advice, but might be worth asking your GP.

I used to get clots, not on pill, and brown discharge towards the end. The gynaecologist took this as a sign of endo, he specifically asked about clots.
